Case Study
Finding inspiration from the architecture
Info
Both the use of materials and color palette were inspired from the existing architecture of the residence. Smaller scale and higher density of plantings were used to create a sense of intimacy adjacent to the residence while larger plant material were used to reinforce the siting of the residence on the property.

An organic bluestone path weaves through the landscape, connecting a series of raised decks with two custom water features nestled into the garden. The soft trickle of water adds a soothing ambiance, drawing visitors deeper into the space. Mature Japanese maple trees anchor the design, their sculptural branches and vibrant foliage framing the front entry and lending a sense of timeless elegance to the home’s approach.
