A dry riverbed serves as both the central focal point of the garden and a functional bio-retention feature, helping to slow surface water runoff from the adjacent street. Bright shades of green and yellow foliage were chosen to both complement and contrast the site’s large, mature cedar tree. A blue flagstone pathway defines the front entry and guides visitors through to the rear garden.
